NORAC BULKHEAD AND LINING SYSTEMS
NORAC offers a complete interior soft core paneling system for use on board ships, cruise vessels, drilling rigs, offshore installations as well as in onshore hotels, hospitals and industrial plants.
The system comprises noncombustible and sound-absorbent elements and has been developed with a view to simple and rapid installation.
The NORAC system is available in standard modules, semi modulated or fully modulated systems. The system has a sound reduction up to 48dB.

System K-600 is a single wall 25mm and 50mm thick system designed with integrated joint profiles for rapid installation, leaving a flush surface with only one seam in the joint. Available in standard or modulated systems. All necessary profiles for installation are included in the scope of supply.
System C-600 is a double wall panel system designed to meet the requirements for the cruise and passenger vessels for partitions in cabins. The sound reduction for this system is 45dB. Each side may be installed independently from the other and the joint profiles are integrated in the panel. Available in standard or modulated system.
The USCG as well as every major society throughout the world approves the NORAC K-600 and NORAC C-600 systems. Both systems have joiner doors, floating floors, wet space panels, wire ways, inspection doors and feature easily removed full size panels. A full range of assembly profiles, including rounded corners, makes this system very quick to install.
The K-600 system is a part of our QUICK SHIP PROGRAM of in-stock inventory.
Weight of K-600, 50mm panel is 16.3kg/m2.
The 25mm weight is 13.4kg/m2. Additional specifications are available on request.
Maritime Services Corp. can provide full design and engineering for any size Norac project. This includes material takeoffs and related services.
A wide variety of vinyl finishes as well as stainless and galvanized finishes are available.
DELTA 12 LINER BOARD
Maritime's Delta 12 Board carries USCG approval #1 64.009/335/0 as a noncombustible material. Delta 12 is an inexpensive C class material, which is generally mechanically fastened to a framework and faired in a manner similar to that of gypsum board. Delta 12 is moisture resistant when primed and is more suited to the marine environment, (whether primed or unprimed), than gypsum products.
Delta 12 can be used as a C class lining, as a substrate over metal frames for furniture fabrication and in similar applications.
Delta 12 is not the quality of, or substitutes for, Promarine Panels or Norac bulkhead systems. It is, however, far superior to gypsum board and plywood interiors.
PROMAT PROMARINE PANELS
This system offers a wide range of panels from 9.5mm thick to 31.8mm thick. Maritime Services Corp. can provide Promarine panels in a wide variety of sizes laminated with plastic laminates, wood veneers, stainless steel, soft plastics or primed for wallcoverings or painting.
Core material for Promat Panels - is a monolithic board based on reinforced calcium silicate and does not contain asbestos fibers. A rigid, lightweight and noncombustible board, its use satisfies international requirements for the protection of accommodation areas in all types of ship and offshore structures. Unlike some systems, the MODULUX panel core remains completely stable when wet. In fire conditions, the MODULUX core maintains its integrity even if the decorative faces are damaged or removed. There is no risk of toxic fume emission under any conditions.
Maritime Services stocks several hundred Promat Panels as a part of Maritime Service's QUICK SHIP PROGRAM in a variety of USCG approved plastic laminate finishes and as plain boards. Plain boards can be laminated with owner selected finishes and shipped within 2-3 weeks of order (ship time depends on availability of laminates). European and domestic (US) laminates are available to match existing decor. Panels are available in two densities. See Table 1 below.
TABLE 1
ALUMINUM PRODUCTS
Aluminum sheet goods with decorative surfaces, one or both sides, are available with installation profiles for use where light weight is required. Panels can be provided perforated for use in areas where sound reduction is needed, such as engine rooms. Thickness of aluminum sheet and decorative surfaces can be varied to suit requirements.
Thickness ranges from 0.50 to 2.0mm and weight will vary from 0.50lbs/ft2 (laminated) to 1.38 lbs/ft2 (laminated). Sheet size is normally 4' x 8' but is available up to 10' x 5'. Smaller and precut and punched and formed panels are also available.
Aluminum honeycomb is a very rigid panel with applications where lightweight and a variety of decorative surfaces are desired. Maritime Services can provide aluminum honeycomb in a wide variety of thickness and alloys to meet mil spec and non-mil spec applications. Installation profiles are also available.
PLYWOOD BULKHEADS AND LININGS
Fabricated from domestic fire retardant or non-fire retardant cores, these bulkheads and linings can be overlaid with hard and soft plastic laminates, stainless steel, galvanized steel and a variety of other finishes. Thickness varies from 1/2" to 3/4". Steel installation profiles or wood trim is available to complete this package. Delivery after order is very fast and the choice of finishes is extensive.
MARITIME SERVICES CORP. DISTRIBUTES A FULL RANGE OF METAL JOINER DOORS
MML-USA fire rated marine doors are manufactured in our Hood River, OR door factory. These doors can be provided a variety of fire classes including C class, B15, A15, A60 and H60, as well as our A60 rated windows. All doors have been tested to the IMO FTP 754(18) and can also meet the 46CFR and NVIC 9-97 construction requirements. These doors and windows can be built from all US processed steel to meet any requirements of a federally funded project.
NORAC joiner doors and access doors are provided to facilitate rapid installation
of the NORAC joiner system.
Norac Doors The doors are supplied complete with the top element, frame, counter frame, door leaf, stainless steel threshold and hardware. Built-in reinforcement for door closure in top of door leaf as standard.

Hardware Maritime Services provides hardware from all major U.S. and European suppliers. This includes card lock and keying systems, padlocks, key cabinets, exit signs, general signage and labeling.

NORAC'S DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILING (DMC)
DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILINGS are available in a wide range of styles, colors and fixings to suit most marine and offshore industry applications and classification requirements. In addition to their high quality construction in steel or aluminum, DANACOUSTIC MODULAR CEILINGS also satisfy most current regulations for noise reduction. This, coupled with their lightweight and simple installation, makes DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILINGS the most cost-efficient total solution for any on board applications.
Maritime Services Corp. is the US distributor for Danacoustic Marine Ceilings (DMC). Perforated and non-perforated panels are available through Maritime Services QUICK SHIP PROGRAM. With an extensive variety of finishes, ceilings are available in plank and in tiles. All ceiling types are easily removable for access into the overhead. Danacoustic Marine Ceilings will fit onto Dampa ceiling carriers. The reverse is not the case.
DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILINGS have found wide acceptance in all varieties of marine vessels including cruise ships, workboats, ferries and offshore. Luminaries, air diffusers, speaker grills and other accessories are available. DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILINGS can be precut to length and penetrations for luminaries, etc., accomplished by the factory, allowing rapid installation. Full engineering and material takeoffs are available to facilitate rapid modular or semi-modular construction. No project is too small, too large or too complex. Maritime Services can provide material only or turnkey quotations.
DANACOUSTIC MARINE CEILINGS are available in linear metal planks from 100-300mm wide and in 600mm x 600mm snap-up or lay-in tiles.

GAGE CEILINGS
Gage Corporation manufactures two (2) types; snap up and lay in at 600mm x 600mm or 24" x 24". Snap up is a bit more expensive but is better suited for marine installations for the following reasons:

CUSTOM CEILINGS
For any application, custom ceilings can be developed to fit exacting
requirements or any design theme.
Aluminum Sheet Ceilings Maritime Services has a wide variety of aluminum sheet ceilings in various thickness, lengths, widths and hole spacing. These are suitable for ferry and workboat ceilings as well as linings in engine and machinery spaces. Panels can be provided perforated or non-perforated in a variety of colors. Backing can be included if ceilings are not to be used as a charged plenum.

Maritime Services offers a wide selection of floating floors, floor coverings and services.
NORAC Floating Floors are steel clad mineral wool, 370mm wide by 2000mm long. Steel is 2.5mm galvanized. A-0 floors weigh 28kg/m2 and have 30mm of insulation. A-60 floors weigh 34kg/m2and have 60mm of insulation. Density of insulation on both is 200kg/m2. Steel wraps two or four sides of mineral wool, depending on requirements of the project. Panels are tack welded after installation. Bulkheads, panel bases, furniture, and other items can be welded or bolted to the steel surface.
Bergo Tile is distributed by Maritime Services for outside decking in areas where drainage, traction and good appearance is required. New developments have been made in the Bergo tile line. They include expansion joint tiles to eliminate buckling during extreme temperature changes on long runs or large areas of tile, and a heavier duty matrix to add comfort. Bergo tile is a part of our QUICK SHIP PROGRAM.
Interior Hardflooring Maritime Services can provide vinyl tile, vinyl sheet, traction floor, ceramic and porcelain tile, terrazzo and poured floors as well as underlayment, covings, and stair treads.
Amtico Floor Coverings Maritime Services can supply and install this beautiful, durable and creative flooring system.
Carpet Maritime Services can supply and install all types of carpeting and pad including custom pattern, direct glue down/double stick and tack strip.
Stair Nosings Maritime Services can provide and install all types of metal and non-metal nosings and stair treads including illuminated styles.
