In addition to the interior design and custom marine interior installations that MSC has always offered, the Marine Systems Division offers in-house expertise in project management of overall ship repair, modifications and new construction. All Marine Systems Division project managers are well versed in the requirements set forth by USCG, IMO/SOLAS, ABS, DNV, NSI, FPT, Lloyds Register and U.S.P.H.
The Electrical Group, a sub-division of the Marine Systems Division, provides electrical support for all of MSC’s activities as well as perform stand-alone marine electrical contracting worldwide. Electrical specialties include design, fabrication, installation, trouble shooting and repair for the marine industry.
The Marine Systems Division and the Electrical Group provide technicians with training and experience in all facets of marine electrical design, service, installations, modifications, and fabrication.

The Marine Systems Division is located in Seattle Washington, but is organized to perform work at any repair facility, pier-side location or underway world wide. AC/DC Power Generation Control Systems Power generation control systems include auto-starting, manual and auto synchronizing, load sharing, priority load shedding, motor generators, and power rectification.
AC/DC Power Distribution Systems Power distribution systems include custom switchboards and panels.
Motor Controls include across the line, soft start and programmable controllers and custom control panels.
Lighting Distribution Lighting distribution systems include supervised remote light level control.

Propulsion Control Systems Electronic diesel engine speed controls and DC motor drive controls.
Steering Control Systems Electro-hydraulic and servo control troubleshooting and repair.
Shipboard Communications Music and entertainment systems, interior and exterior public address and loud hailing systems, intercoms and telephone exchange systems.
Casino Gaming Equipment Installation of gaming machine data and power cabling, equipment bases and signage.
Cargo Handling Equipment Troubleshooting and repair of cargo and ammunition elevator logics circuits and auxiliary components, crane controls, and electric forklift truck controls.
Regulatory Compliance Assistance Electrical inspections and reports for ABS Periodical Class Surveys, preparation for USCG/COI inspection, or planning for self-inspection.
Planned Maintenance Systems Custom planned maintenance systems, including bar code shipboard inventory control, monitoring and storage programs.
