| Description: Maritime Services engineered, supplied and installed the joiner outfitting for (3) new Staten Island Ferries. Installation was done at Marinette Marine in Marinette, WI over a two year period. Also, provided was interior design in conjunction with NYDOT state's appointed architect, as the materials specified were not Coast Guard approved, thus re-specification was needed. The Staten Island Ferry has been in services since 1905 and currently carries over 20 million passengers a year.
